I am a seasoned SQL Server specialist with over two decades of experience, starting my journey with SQL Server 6.5 as a system administrator and later evolving into a dedicated Database Administrator (DBA) with SQL Server 2000. My expertise spans infrastructure, security, and performance optimization, ensuring that SQL environments are stable, efficient, and secure.
In 2015, I became actively involved in the SQL PASS community, beginning my journey as a speaker. Since then, I have shared my knowledge at numerous European events, focusing on SQL Server and Azure SQL topics. My dedication to the community was recognized with the Microsoft Data Platform MVP award, which I held until my relocation.
Today, I work as a freelancer under my brand, CraftedSQL, offering professional SQL Server services to an international clientele. My primary client remains Kramer & Crew GmbH & Co. KG, with whom I maintain a strong professional relationship.
Beyond my technical work, I have a passion for science fiction, baking, and cycling, bringing balance to my professional and personal life.
